Mark Howe launch report

May 9, 2016

Great day for a launch! I didn't put up that many but had a real good time. 2 sets of dual-gliders, 1 helicopter rocket, and a few standard 3FNC. Also flew my "CATO" on a C6-0 and it performed it's R.E.D. (Rapid Expected Disassembly) function perfectly. Came down in seven separate pieces, unfortunately I only recovered six of them. The top stage of my small gaped gliders (B60/B6-2) suffered a loss of the motor pod at ejection, so it floated rather than glided down to earth. It's bigger brother (on a D12-0/D12-3 combo) flew much better but the lower glider suffered a fracture along the motor tube strut. Both gliders can easily be repaired. Highlight of the day had to be the BBQ grill launch, even if the landing was less than optimal. Kind regards, Mark
