Mothers Day launch anouncement

We are T-9 days and counting! SPARC (SPokane Area Rocketry Club) will be hosting its' first 2-day rocket launch of the 2008 flying season over Mothers' Day Weekend (Saturday May 10th & Sunday May 11th). The launch has been nick-named "M&MinM4M" (Mark & Marty in May for Mothers' Day) since Mark Howe and Marty Weiser will be splitting the Launch Director duties over this two day launch.
Range/GSE Set-up will begin around 9AM on Sat 05/10, with the High Power
FAA waiver called in around 10AM.
Overnight camping is available/recommended and a porta-potty will be on
site.
Range teardown will be scheduled for approximately 3PM on Sunday 05/11,
so that folks can get home for Mothers' Day dinner.
Volunteers are requested to assist with the following duties over the
2-day span.
* Sat: Range/GSE Set-Up [all ages welcome]
* Sat & Sun: Waiver/Wrist band control (all attendees, fliers &
spectators, must have a signed 2008 waiver and wear a "fashionable"
colored wrist band)
* Sat & Sun: Range Safety Officers (RSO's) [should be at least
Level- 2 High Power Certified for the "lead" RSO position, RSO
"deputies" need to be at least Level-1]
* Sat & Sun: Launch Control Officers (LCO's) [must be over 18]
* Sun: Range Teardown [all ages welcome]
Please send your selections to mark.howe@getronics.com. The more people
that volunteer the easier things will run. Waiver/Wrist Band, RSO, and
LCO duties will be time spliced so nobody is overworked. Also, please
let me know if you plan on spending the night.
