APRIL MEETING IN MANSFIELD
April 20, 2006
There is a launch in Manfield this weekend, and most of the folks that would normally attend a meeting are going to be there. Therefore, we'll hold the meeting at the launch site, we'll gather about 7pm around my trailer. Bring a chair and, if you want, a beverage to satisfy your thrist!

APRIL LAUNCH CANCELLED

Due to weather concerns the April Launch is cancelled.
Weather report calls for high chances of rain, and pretty strong winds. With the cold temperatures predicted its thought that the best thing is to cancel the launch. Additionally, the access road into the field could be damaged during the exodus that typically happens when the rains begin. Emerson just fixed it from our last launch.
Let hope for better weather in May, and look forward to the launch in Mansfield in 2 weeks.

Launch on Saturday and Sunday April 8th and 9th

Its that time again, LAUNCH weekend! Of course the weather looks nasty.
According to Weather.com we have a 80% chance of rain on Saturday and 60% on
Sunday...Keep an eye on the list and the website for the go/no-go call.
If we are go, setup begins at 9, launch commences at 10. With the newly
cleaned up field (thanks to all that helped!) we will have a nice area to
launch from.
Bring firewood if you have it, it promises to be cold on Saturday night.
Hoping to hear that battery charging sequence has begun, waiver will be
called in today.
Lets do what ever we can to change the weather, if you have any contacts,
get in touch with them!
