Launch on Saturday March 11, 2006

March 08, 2006

Just a reminder that we are scheduled for a launch this coming Saturday. Setup time is 9am, start time is 10 am, quitting time is when ever we get tired of launching.

Keep an eye on this website as the weather doesn't look great between now and then.

Note that the waiver we were worried about has come through, we will be fully waivered to our normal altitude of 11,500 ft, with special criteria for over 7,000 ft flights.

How long do the launches usually last? We have basketball in the morning and wanted to try and make it.

The launches usually last until 3 or 4. Be sure to check the website prior to driving out to the launch site, there will be a post that indicates if we are going to be launching or not.

The weather can cancel a launch, but the ground may be snow covered, or too muddy to launch too.
