Launch Anouncement
March 10, 2005
Just wanted to give you an update on the launch this coming Saturday.
The waiver hasn't arrived, but a call to air traffic control at the airport was a pleasant surprise. Paul (didn't catch his last name) told me that we could fly under last years waiver paper work. He cited the reason as "you guys have been great, never caused us any trouble and called at the beginning and end of every launch." The good news is that we can fly any rocket (up to total of "K" impulse) to an altitude of 10,500 ft (the NAR limit on our field size).
A port-a-potty has been arranged to be on-site, that's good news.
The weather report is getting better and better, so let's all hope that the trend continues and we have a great day for launching.
SO, lets all show up, launch some rockets and start the season on the right foot!
Can't wait to see everyone there.
